PublicaciónEl valor social integrado en empresas de la economía social en España: una revisión sistemática(Associacao Iberica de Sistemas e Tecnologias de Informacao, 2024-01-01)
; ;This systematic review focuses on Integrated Social Value (ISV), an emerging methodology essential to evaluate the monetary impact in social economy companies. It highlights its relevance in the creation of long-term value, in contrast to the maximization of short-term profits. The Prisma method was applied, and various documentary sources were used, such as C.I.R.I.E.C, Dialnet, ResearchGate, Science Direct, B.E..E, Frontiers and Sage Journals, revealing that the methodology has only been applied and studied in Spain. In the literature examined, cases from special employment centers to social cooperatives stand out, evidencing the emerging importance of VSI for organizations of this type. In conclusion, the VSI emerges as a valuable tool for quantifying social value in nonprofit companies, with implications for corporate social responsibility and social accounting. © 2024, Associacao Iberica de Sistemas e Tecnologias de Informacao. PublicaciónPerceptions of stakeholders and challenges faced by ecotourism management in a natural protected area in Peru(Springer Science and Business Media B.V., 2023-01-01)
;Esparza-Huamanchumo, Rosse Marie ;Llonto Caicedo, Yefferson ; ;Romo Román, Pablo CesarMougenot, BenoitNatural protected areas (NPAs) aim to preserve biodiversity, ecosystems, and the environmental services that contribute to the population’s welfare; their presence and maintenance are thus vital. The involvement of stakeholders through ecotourism is crucial to fostering sustainability in NPAs as they play an important role in the management of ecotourism activities and the implementation of development objectives, allowing for the conservation of these territories. This study seeks to identify the patterns and interrelationships between the sustainability-driving factors of local enterprises from the perspective of stakeholders in the Bosque de Pómac historic sanctuary in Lambayeque, Peru. A qualitative methodology was used to interview the actors involved in the Sanctuary’s tourism management. The results were assessed using ATLAS.ti software, version 9. The findings show that local entrepreneurs intend to meet an immediate need and have no tools to help them strengthen the business management, leadership, and innovation of their range of products and services to scale their business over time and promote the local population’s welfare. These results present several implications for management of ecotourism activities related to NPAs and their stakeholders. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer Nature B.V. -
PublicaciónRevisión de los principios de mensurabilidad aplicados a la psicologíaThe measurement of psychological phenomena requires compliance with principles and rules established since the beginning of the 20th century and that are widely used in psychological and social research. The purpose of this article is to offer a chronological review of the basic principles and rules established from measurement theory. The methodology used was descriptive, using documentary research as a technique, through bibliographic review. The results show the rules of the numerical representation of phenomena, the mathematical principles on the notion of quantity and Campbell’s (1952) measurement rules, from physics. Similarly, Stevens’ (1946) measurement scales are presented as a guide for the recognition of the properties of phenomena in psychological and social research. Finally, measurement criteria and rules established from psychometrics and mathematical psychology are shown. It is concluded that the validity and rigor of the measurement are conditioned by the nature of psychological and social phenomena, as well as by compliance with a set of principles, axioms and rules from mathematics and physics. © (2024), (Universidad del Zulia).
