Transformational leadership has been defined, broadly speaking, as a discipline of great relevance, not only in organizational settings, but in any known type of organization. The central objective of the study is to understand the effects of transformational leadership within organizations, as well as its levels of impact and incidence, and how these processes generate substantial changes in all types of organizations. As a method, the review of articles was carried out in order to analyze and identify the central points of the research. This anal-ysis consisted of the review of 20 articles, 19 available in Sco-pus and one in Google Scholar, published between January to October 2020 and February 2023, “Leadership” “Transforma-tional” were used as keywords. The results showed an important and notable impact of this discipline generating processes of change not only in purely managerial aspects, but also of a social nature. © 2024 Interciencia Association.
